Indonesian Canadian Congress Celebrates 7th Birthday at Winterlude Ottawa

On February 18, ICC celebrates it’s 7th birthday around Ottawa downtown. Friends and families were heading to Ottawa downtown area for last day gazing Winterlude ice sculptures and skating at new City Hall’s new Rink of Dreams.

Mild winter accross Ottawa have closed the Rideau Canal the longest skating ring in the world but the new Rink of Dreams surely made the worthy replacement for families to enjoy ice skating. Every year hundreds of thousand come out to celebrate the joys of winter in Canada’s Capital Region Ottawa Winterlude. This year ICC friends and families join the fun enjoying ice sculptures, a playground made of snow while celebrating its 7th anniversary.

The celebration continues at Rideau Mall food court to warm up and sip complementary coffee from ICC. Cake, fruits, and other snacks donation from friends and families were also served. The event at food court surely attract other visitor attention as more than 60 ICC members, friends and families connecting with smile, laugh and friendship. ICC executives blows the candle peaked the event follows by eating the chocolate cake together.

Indonesian Canadian Congress (ICC) is a federally registered non-profit community that is mostly volunteered based, located in Ottawa, Ontario. The organization was established in 2005 by Canadians, of Indonesian origin, having the needs to have a national organization enriching the existing Canadian multi-cultural society by providing our views, our values, our culture and our heritage within Canadian communities.
